Support to Health in UN Civil Society Conference in Nairobi

Parvana Valiyeva, executive director of Support to Health Public Union spoke at the UN CS conference in Nairobi. Parvana Valiyeva, a member of the Organizing Committee for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the 19th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, and the 6th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement, delivered a speech at the plenary session titled “Managing the Climate Emergency on Our Planet” at the UN Civil Society Conference held in Nairobi, Kenya. In her speech, she spoke about the effective work being done to ensure that COP29, which Azerbaijan will host, is held at a high level and is sustainable. “This is an excellent opportunity to bring together heads of state and government, civil society organizations, business circles, and international institutions in Azerbaijan, to discuss measures to accelerate climate change, the implementation of the Paris Agreement, and to focus on long-term climate strategies and goals”.
